about

A new 3 song ep that continues the slew of new recordings being made available recently by Llarks (it follows the Continue ep, Come and Close Your Eyes LP, and Lluvia 7").

Diamond Flowers shows the noisier side of Llarks, starting with the title track that opens with a noisy guitar loop before a crushing sheet of guitars enter and quickly whip up a wall of sound with melodies gliding in and out of the sonic debris. Radiance begins with a swell of guitar chords while a bagpipe like drone steadies the center of the song, all while a cluster of melodic lines rise and fall throughout. And finally, the closing song, "Here" is an absolute maelstrom of blistering, beautiful noise and soaring melodies that captures an atmosphere that is equally tragic and triumphant. This is the sound of right fucking now.
